How to read it

The book answers head-on the question its title raises, and its answer is that what comes is a part of the operator that is not normally available. There are no pacts, no influence over third parties and no secret knowledge. Personifying internal contents is a powerful technique and it is not harmless for everybody: if you have a history of psychotic episodes, of dissociation or of an identity disorder, or you are in an acute crisis, this kind of practice must be done with professional support.

The material it starts from belongs to the common tradition and to works in the public domain. The writing, the structure, the formulae in the vernacular, the framing, the eight plates and the recording exercises are original work.
